Shanghai Tours-See Jin Mao Tower Shanghai

Unfortunately the day China tours we were there it was a bit smoggy so the view was okay but on one of those rare clear days I am sure it is pretty impressive. Luckily it was not too busy so we took our time. Now I've discovered you can just go up to the top of the Hyatt (one floor under) and have a drink for the same price, and enjoy the same view, I probably would have done that instead.

Wait for a clear day to pay for the sixty second elevator ride to the 88th floor of the Jinmao Tower, the tallest building in China. At 1380 feet, it's the world's third tallest building as well as the home of the world's tallest hotel, the Grand Hyatt Shanghai. The view looking down into the hotel atrium could be a challenge for the acrophobia, but the panorama of the busy Yangtze River cruises city is worth the trip.
